skype on ubuntu

hi skype is working fine...i have got three diskless machines bootin out of ubuntu live cd.all three serve internet to public...no viruses,no keyloggers,no blue screen of death..pure surfing..

loaded ubuntu at my in laws place...installed like smooth butter while i surfed the net...definetily faster than windows XP on the same hardware...till now no hardware issues..eveything works fine..even better...voice chats is not working out of the box...will b doing something about it....

today i resurrected a cpu which was lying offroad for a year or so...every thing was ok except the 20 gb harddisk.. i removed it.made changes in bios to boot from cdrom. then i put a puppy linux cdrom in the cd drive and the system was live again...every thing is working with this 100 mb of software.now i will test for printing with dotmatrix printers..then lan..then usb devices ..
