today i resurrected a cpu which was lying offroad for a year or so...every thing was ok except the 20 gb harddisk.. i removed it.made changes in bios to boot from cdrom. then i put a puppy linux cdrom in the cd drive and the system was live again...every thing is working with this 100 mb of software.now i will test for printing with dotmatrix printers..then lan..then usb devices ..
